The second show that I went to was Oscar Jacobsons show at Berns. Here, I also liked the venue. At the show it was live music wich I thought was a great feature.
In the programme you could read that Oscar Jacobsen had a theme wich was Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. I thought it was a great idea with a theme. However I didn't think the theme was consistent throughout the whole show. I could clearly see the theme in the clothes, Jekyll was represented by warmer colours and a somewhat brittish look. Hyde was darker and the clothes had a more fitted look. The musick was also in some ways lighter and brighter in the beginning of the show (Jekyll) and more powerfull later on (Hyde). But if I hadn't read the programme before I honestly don't thik that I would have noticed these facts, or at least I never would have understood the theme. I think that you could have made a much sharper line between Jekyll and Hyde with the music and also with the lighting. The lighting of this show was frankly quite boring and I think that you could have played much more with it making the theme come through even more. I don't think I would have chosen the exact same music as they thid either because I don't think the tuneds played fitted the theme. I also think that the models walked to fast, just like in Ubi Sunts show. I think that you could have made the theme clearer whit changing that as well. I would hav preferred to see some older mothels, and most of all some expressions in their faces. I saw one guy who almost smiled, wich was great.

SvaraRaderaI agree with you about the light... would have liked it more scary/sexy/interesting considering the theme of the show!
SvaraRaderaBut, I liked the models and the styling. Old-fashioned, Sherlocky, waxed hair, old watches and nice details. Beautiful clothes - at least the "Hyde" ones...
And by the way I really like your calm approach to things (as it seems). Take care and see you tuesday!
